Reinstating a Victrorian property from flats to a family home

When we first viewed this property, it was a Victorian house that had been converted into three flats. The brief for this project, which took 24 weeks to complete, was to reinstate the property back to an architecturally-designed family home.

After demolishing internally, we rewired, fitted central heating and replaced all the windows. The top floor had been designed to create a deluxe master suite, with en-suite bathroom and dressing room with custom-made joinery.

On the first floor the rooms were re-configured to create three double bedrooms, a study and a family bathroom. Finally, we extended to the rear of the ground floor to create a magnificent kitchen, dining door with bi-fold doors opening to the attractive garden. The end result is a striking family home, true to its Victorian roots but with a modern twist.
