Rear extension and full-house refurbishment

In 2015, Qualitas completed a full-house refurbishment of a gorgeous semi-detached house in Clapham South.

Although the house was very large, the owners felt there was scope to enhance the living experience and add resale value to the property .

As such, Qualitas extended the side-return to create a dramatically larger open-plan kitchen. Making use of plentiful natural light through bi-fold doors that open out to the garden and substantial skylights, we created a family-friendly kitchen complete with dining area and a relaxed living space.

Upstairs, dramatic changes were made to the loft, which was reconfigured to create a loft studio with a living area, bedroom and bathroom – perfect for an older child or au pair.

Meanwhile the bedrooms were reconfigured to create an enviable master bathroom suite complete with a state-of-the art walk-in shower and sumptuous dressing room.

The transformation was completed on budget and according to the schedule and the owners were delighted with the results.
